What Are Fat Dissolving Injections?
Fat Dissolving Injections does exactly what it says on the tin! They help with the removal of unwanted excess fat. Fat dissolving injections work by disrupting fat cells, making them unstable. These cells then begin to break down, flushing them out through the body via the lymphatic system.

Can I Have The Treatment?
Fat Dissolving Injections aren't suitable for pregnant women, breastfeeding woman or anyone who is currently experiencing pathological abnormalities. This treatment is not suitable for anyone under the age of 18.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
You will need between 2 - 8 treatments of Fat-Dissolving, depending on the size of the area, to achieve your desired look. The sessions should be spaced between 6 to 8 weeks apart.

When Will I Notice A Difference?
It takes approximately 2-3 weeks before you start to notice a difference; the larger the area, the longer it will take. You should allow up to 8 weeks to see the final results.

How Can I Prepare For My Appointment?
Going to a sauna before the treatment can help to mobilise the fat. Bring some Paracetamol to your appointment, if you feel you may need it - do not take Aspirin or Ibuprofen. Avoid wearing tight/ uncomfortable clothing to your appointment as the area may feel tender after the procedure. Avoid drinking alcohol 24 hours prior to your appointment.

What Possible Side Effects Are Caused From Fat Dissolving Injections?
You may feel quite tender. Take some Paracetamol if you feel discomfort, however avoid anti-inflammatory drugs (such as Ibuprofen and Aspirin). The area will look swollen for the first 24-48 hours. The swelling will go down over the course of the next week or more. Remember - SWELLING IS GOOD! The more you swell the more you are responding to treatment. The treated area will look red and feel warm afterwards, and this may persist for 2 days. You may develop some bruising, feel itchy, and have some minor aches and pains in the treated area. Rarely you can develop systemic symptoms such as nausea, diarrhoea, intracycle menstrual bleeding (in women) and hyperpigmentation.
